Huge shoutout to Sherman Poppen for being the first to run with the idea of a “snurfer” in 1965. This obviously evolved into what we know today as snowboarding. Thanks to Poppen there are tons of snowboard brands that are doing lovely work to keep evolving and growing the sport today.

Whether it be the new technology or the wide variety of environmentally friendly work that these brands are doing the sport could not be in a better place.

There are so many companies that are defying what we thought was possible back in 1965 and they are  all doing it in their unique ways. This list is here for you to discover and learn more about some of the top brands in the industry.
